The lemoal lemoal architecture paysage practice was commissioned to design the Pierre Chevet sports hall for the town of Croissy-Beaubourg. Their design solution utilized hempcrete blocks making Pierre Chevet the first new public building with this materiality-type in France.

The “Tower of Voices” stands solemnly at the resolute Flight 93 National Memorial, the first 21st century national park located in Shanksville, Pennsylvania nestled in the Allegheny Mountains. The crash site of United Flight 93 on September 11, 2001 is being remembered on its 20-year anniversary. The 93-feet tall musical monument represents the flight number and its 40 wind chimes represent the 40 crew and passenger members on the plane who died as heroes that day.

Hotel Bohinj (formerly Hotel Kompas) is located in Triglav National Park and rests on a plateau. The structure enjoys breathtaking views of Lake Bohinj, glorious mountains and the angelic church of Janez Krstnik. The new owners of the hotel, Merlak investicije and Alpinia employed OFIS architects to plan its sustainable renovation, including new structural reinforcement and interior design.
