From the redevelopment of the historic building at Corso Europa 22 in Milan, originally designed in the 1950s by Vico Magistretti, comes the new corporate headquarters of We.Do Holding, an industrial group active in the high-end furniture sector. The property, already fully leased, is managed by Prelios SGR, one of Italy’s leading asset management companies and part of the Prelios Group. The works were carried out by EXA MP, an international group specializing in the execution of highly complex architectural projects.
The building, encompassing 3,400 sq. m spread across eight floors, underwent extensive renovation and refurbishment under a design by Studio Asti. The works involved the common areas, façade, systems, relocation of the main entrance with the consequent expansion of the retail areas, as well as the enhancement of the seventh and eighth floors, which now host We.Do’s executive offices and the Busnelli Studio—one of the group’s brands—respectively. The showcase of Arrital, another of the group’s brands, occupying the ground, first, and basement levels, was also renewed with updated systems and finishes.
The realization of We.Do Holding’s three new spaces brought together some of Milan’s leading design studios: 967arch for the group’s corporate headquarters, AMDL Circle led by Michele De Lucchi for the Arrital showcase, and Daniele Lo Scalzo Moscheri’s studio for the Busnelli Studio.
The retail space has already achieved ESG BREEAM In-Use Very Good certification, which the group also aims to extend to the entire building.
