Commissioned by the 7RE real estate group, Studio Pralavorio has designed the 7ower residence in Turin’s desirable Cit Turin district. With a façade that immediately catches the eye with its elegance, rhythm, and innovation, this ten-story building truly stands out from its urban surrounds. Its geometries are clean and minimal, enhanced by composite wood sunshades and teak finishes, the positions of which let residents screen and protect the inside of their homes despite the large windows. The effect is both understated and elegant. And here we see the first contribution of Déco, a company specialized in exterior and interior finishes, which supplied its Stilo sunshades to enhance the exterior of the building from the aesthetic, functional, and performance perspectives.
Stilo sunshades are also used inside the building, in particular in the common areas shared by the 38 dwellings, where they create subtle divisions between the various rooms and along the stairs. In this way, the various spaces, including some with less elegant looks, were given a touch of warmth and harmony that’s pleasant to the eye and adds to the livability of the building.
A focus on contemporary, innovative solutions can also be seen inside the large, well-lit apartments, designed to meet the need for practicality, performance, reliability, and aesthetics. For them, Déco supplied its Moove.Urban indoor wall finishes – a polymer system that reinterprets traditional wall paneling through contemporary geometries and colors. The squared-off slats of the Tower line, in an intense shade of charcoal, alternate in a uniform rhythm, creating rigorously symmetrical lines.
Ruyi Teak, also from the Moove.Urban range, was installed in some of the common areas. Characterized by its irregular design and beveled edges, this variant gives movement and dynamism to surfaces, creating rooms with a strong personality.
