The projects in the ‘Sport&Leisure’ category of THE PLAN Award 2021

Sport is the protagonist of this summer which is the backdrop to the European football championships and the Tokyo Olympics, both postponed from last year due to the pandemic. Thus, we are all rediscovering sports structures and fields, but also playgrounds and places of entertainment, architectures that must ensure entertainment and well-being, safety and inclusion.

There are 9 shortlisted projects in the ‘Sport&Leisure’ category of THE PLAN Award 2021, between the two sections Completed and Future, from all over the world. These works have already passed the first selection phase of the prestigious annual architecture and design award and could be included by the jury among the finalists. However, everyone can vote for their favorite projects in view of the assignment of the Community Wish List Special Prize.
