Interior design offers architects and designers infinite possibilities of combinations of shapes, materials, lights and colors. Freed from the need to face atmospheric agents and less tied to the surrounding context, the interiors allow the designers maximum freedom of expression. They can thus develop the concept by intercepting numerous opportunities for experimentation and best interpreting the intentions of the client. In fact, the finishes and furnishings that are chosen to characterize an environment tell a lot about a person, a company, or an institution.
There are 46 shortlisted projects in the ‘Interior’ category of THE PLAN Award 2021, between the two sections Completed and Future, coming from all over the world. These works have already passed the first selection phase of the prestigious annual architecture and design award and could be included by the jury among the finalists. However, everyone can vote for their favorite projects in view of the assignment of the Community Wish List Special Prize.
