Eight winners and ten honorable mentions: these are the results of the THE PLAN Real Estate Award 2025, the fifth edition of the award dedicated to real estate operations, which this year saw the participation of more than 60 projects on an international scale. Selected from a shortlist of 32 finalists, the winners were announced during the closing evening held on Tuesday, January 27 in Milan, at the historic Fonderia Napoleonica Eugenia.

The competition is structured around four categories—ESG; Innovation and Design; Investment and Asset Management; Urban Regeneration—each further divided into Future and Completed projects.

The awards were decided by a multidisciplinary jury of industry experts: Barbara Cominelli, Chair, Urban Land Institute Italia; Francesca Federzoni, Vice President of OICE and President of Politecnica Building for Humans; Luca Giannelli, CEO of United Consulting and MSC Associati; and Massimiliano Pulice, Head of the Urban Regeneration and Infrastructure Competence Center at Cassa Depositi e Prestiti.

The title of Overall Winner of the THE PLAN Real Estate Award 2025 was awarded to Manifattura Tabacchi Verona, a project by Supernova, for its ability to combine tradition and innovation in a highly complex intervention designed by Snøhetta, as well as for the bold decision to invest in a city outside the usual real estate hubs.

The event was organized in partnership with Buromilan, an international engineering firm, and Atlas Concorde, a leading brand in the ceramic surfaces sector. Opening the evening was the roundtable discussion Accessible cities, competitive assets, a moment of dialogue on emerging urban scenarios and sustainable development strategies, followed by the Awards Ceremony.
