Through extensive, ongoing research into color and finish, ceramic has moved beyond its purely functional role. This is especially true in the bathroom, where technological innovation and a design culture focused on elegance have produced their own expressive vocabulary. This evolution is central to Ceramica Globo, a specialist in Italian bathroom furnishings. The company’s focus is reflected across its collections of ceramic washbasins, bathtubs, shower trays, toilets, and bidets. The company recently unveiled three new palettes and finishes that transform the ceramic surfaces of sanitaryware into versatile design elements.

The three new releases are Bagno di Colore, Riflessi di Luce, and Le Pietre. The Bagno di Colore series features a matte finish with a soft, silky feel. Available in 18 colors, its signature shades include Azalea, Royal Blue, Crema, and Veronese. These options are available for washbasins and coordinating elements such as vanities and ceramic countertops. Seven variants – Matt White, Matt Black, Agata, Castagno, Felce, Mattone, and Smoke – are available for toilets, bidets, bathtubs, and shower trays.
Ranging from floral accents to deep nocturnal shades and warm, intense earth tones, these new surfaces draw inspiration from Mediterranean landscapes and suit both residential and contract applications.

By contrast, Riflessi di Luce emphasizes the visual depth of high-gloss surfaces. The dense, uniform glaze creates a luminous surface with a depth of finish that rivals the clarity of glass. The Riflessi di Luce palette – which now includes the new Cherry, Lavanda, and Sand shades – is inspired by the elemental tones of the earth, metals, sky, and sea. The Riflessi di Luce finish is available across the new Gisele furniture system and a broad selection of ceramic washbasins and countertops. It is also featured on the Olivia floor-mounted urinal , a sculptural piece designed by Giulio Iacchetti.

Finally, striking a balance between formal minimalism and sensory richness, Le Pietre uses texture and tone to suggest the solidity and natural irregularities of stone. Color becomes an integral part of the interior design, defining the character, volume, and identity of the contemporary home.
