Sustainable materials, high-tech products, and outdoor solutions were some of the key themes of EuroCucina 2024. The biennial exhibition of the world of kitchens was held April 16–21, parallel to the 62nd Salone del Mobile at the Fiera Milano exhibition center.
By showcasing the latest trends in the sector, the most up-to-date brand research findings, and the habits and rituals of daily life, EuroCucina has again confirmed the central role of the kitchen in contemporary living. With home automation, kitchens are transforming into living ecosystems with interconnected devices that simplify daily life and contribute to efficient energy use.
Whirlpool used EuroCucina 2024 to launch its new Kitchen Suite W-Collection, an innovative range of built-in appliances that reveals the firm’s commitment to satisfying customer needs with high-quality products that streamline daily routines.
The new W-Collection oven perfectly reflects the concept of simplifying the user experience. With its Food Sensing Probe and 6th Sense Technology, the oven monitors the cooking process for foods ranging from dough to liquid bases. The compact combination microwave version offers a useful pairing of size and functionality, with its 18” (45 cm) oven space optimizing a kitchen’s space and style.
Also part of the W-Collection is a new generation of induction cooktops with the HeatControl function, which makes it possible to simply set the temperature and then let the cooktop do the rest without having to constantly monitor the cooking process. It gives excellent results with minimal effort.
Steel was at EuroCucina 2024 with Oxford Mistral, an important addition to the line successfully launched at 2022’s Salone del Mobile with Enfasi Mistral, a product with a clean, minimalist design that’s ideal for contemporary interiors. Intended for kitchens with more traditional styling, these cookers have a more classic design that brings an intriguing retro look to the kitchen.
The Oxford Mistral cooker features a versatile induction cooktop with four flexi zones, a multifunction oven with the patented Innvent system for uniform heat distribution, and an integrated hood with a high-performance brushless motor.

Another new product from LG was the new InstaView with MoodUPTM refrigerators, with integrated speakers and luminous doors that can be customized with the LG ThinQ app. This innovative line of products made its Italian debut at Salone del Mobile.
The big attraction at the Haier booth was the ID SERIE ovens, with A++ energy efficiency and Bionic Vision. This technology uses a camera inside the oven to recognize the food and automatically set the ideal cooking mode. It also offers customizable control and the option of using the hOn group app.
Also on show were its ID series refrigerators, with their meticulous designs and advanced Fresher Techs for maximized food keeping. This is the first time that these functions, already featured in its free-standing products, have been included in its built-in appliances.
Already known for its innovative patented digital interface, the Vita Gessi CaffèTM multifunctional system has been enhanced with a new coffee dispensing function. This is a technology that not only helps protect the environment by reducing the use of plastic and saving both water and energy, but also celebrates the iconic ritual of Italian coffee.
As well as providing still and sparkling, cold and boiling water, along with various personalization options and storing up to twenty-four quantities in its memory, Vita Gessi CaffèTM now also uses coffee pods. With its elegant design, the product is available in two versions and seven different finishes, while the digital interface can be set for dispensing both short and long coffees.
One of the new ideas that Barazza brought to Milano Design Week was Aura, a line of built-in dishwashers and refrigerators with cutting-edge technology for maximum hygiene and practicality.

From the architecture to the arrangement of the components, every detail is designed for maximum convenience and efficiency.
Striking wood paneling adds a touch of elegance to the kitchen, acting as an artistic backdrop while creating cohesion and visual harmony. Providing a soft, stage-like glow, recessed perimeter lighting enhances the decorative and functional elements of the kitchen. Other features are its illuminated wall wine rack flanked by bright open storage spaces, an unusual glass compartment incorporated into the central island bench, and the bench’s low-set lights that add a touch of modernity. LED lights recessed between the panels add dynamism and a contemporary feel, while offering a remote dimmer function to adapt the space to different needs and occasions.
