Small, Collaborative Communities

Designed as a spacious workplace for teamwork while also respectful of individual professional spaces, a new location of the real estate sales and leasing company Engel & Völkers was recently inaugurated in Cinecittà, the third in the Italian capital city. Featuring approximately 750 sq. m of total floor space, this new Market Center is the result of a complete renovation designed by architect Anthony François Fekete of the studio Fase Architetti Associati, who oversaw and managed all phases of the project, down to the interior fittings. The enhancement of collaborative activity has been placed at the heart of the project from its earliest stages, leading to an articulation of spaces as small communicating micro-communities with each other. The entrance is characterized by a welcome lounge, which then leads to different zones divided by glass partitions. The executive office, three large operation rooms for agents, six meeting rooms of various dimensions, three call booths, and several gathering and refreshment spaces face each other along a single corridor.

In this project, Quadrifoglio Group was involved in the supply of furniture solutions for comfortable environments and capable of facilitating the daily activities in the office. In a continuous interplay between connection and privacy, Quadrifoglio Group’s M3 glazed partition walls are essential: they allow the different rooms to be scanned while also guaranteeing privacy and visual permeability to the surrounding environment. In addition to the partitions, Quadrifoglio Group also supplied desks from the X4 series (modular and expandable according to office dimensions), storage, armchairs for the reception area, seating from the Okay collection (ergonomic and adjustable, for big operative spaces), and the custom reception desk. In the general manager’s office, the traditional form of the executive chair has been reinterpreted, opting for the Dinamica model, which makes the style more dynamic and contemporary thanks to its quilting. To make the dining area a comfortable and personalized room, the company furnished tables and small tables, as well as chairs and stools to facilitate the creation of an atmosphere suitable also for informal meetings.

The collaboration between Quadrifoglio Group and Studio Fase Architetti Associati has resulted in a Market Center that is profoundly identifiable and respectful of the identity of Engel & Völkers: the interior design is characterized by neutral colors like white, gray and black with sober and minimal lines, in a stylistic continuum that reflects the values of the real estate company.
