Global connections, new curatorial territories, and an unprecedented opening to the contract sector: these are the key themes around which the 64th edition of Salone del Mobile.Milano will revolve. The fair returns from April 21 to 26, 2026, at Rho Fiera, with more than 1,900 exhibitors from 32 countries, 227 brands, and over 169,000 sq. m of net exhibition space, now completely sold out. Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026 also marks the return of the EuroCucina Biennial, together with FTK – Technology For the Kitchen, and the International Bathroom Exhibition.
The 64th Salone del Mobile.Milano was officially presented on the morning of January 29 at Triennale Milano, during a press conference attended, among others, by Attilio Fontana, President of the Lombardy Region; Giuseppe Sala, Mayor of Milan; and Maria Porro, President of Salone del Mobile.Milano.

Among the key new features of Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026 is the highly anticipated debut of Salone Raritas. Curated icons, unique objects, and outsider pieces, an initiative bringing together 25 visionary exhibitors, with exhibition design by Formafantasma. Through Salone Raritas, one-of-a-kind works, limited editions, and outsider creations will step outside the traditional circuits of collecting to enter the very heart of the B2B market.
Also noteworthy is the immersive installation Aurea, an Architectural Fiction, the core of the A Luxury Way itinerary: a mise-en-scène conceived by Paris-based studio Maison Numéro 20, built around an imaginary hotel that reinterprets the codes of luxury and hospitality as a theatrical and sensory experience. This year’s edition of the Salone will also see the launch of the Salone Contract project, which will take shape in 2026 through dedicated paths and a fair-based talk, ahead of its official debut in April 2027, with a masterplan designed by Rem Koolhaas and David Gianotten (OMA).

Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026 naturally confirms its long-standing focus on emerging talent with the 27th edition of SaloneSatellite, curated by Marva Griffin Wilshire, founder of the event in 1998 and mentor to generations of young designers. With the participation of more than 700 designers under 35 from 43 countries, alongside 23 international design schools and universities, SaloneSatellite will once again spotlight craftsmanship as a driving force of design—from gesture to innovation, spanning experimentation, new techniques, and design responsibility.
Once again, the Salone will extend beyond the halls of Rho Fiera to embrace the city through Milan Design Week, renewing its partnership with Fondazione Teatro alla Scala. The official opening evening of the Salone will take place at Teatro alla Scala, featuring a concert by the Philharmonic Orchestra. In addition, the Design Kiosk, a Salone landmark, will return for the third consecutive year to Piazza della Scala, joined by a second kiosk in Piazza del Duomo. Throughout the city, more than 200 showrooms belonging to exhibiting brands will open their doors to the public during Milan’s design week.
