The beauty of outdoor life and an open-air version of all the comforts of a room at home come together and intertwine thanks to the innovation and technology of BT Group, which has designed and realized the new R608 Pergosky bioclimatic pergola. With an innovative design that pays particular attention to functionality and esthetics, its self-supporting structure is made of aluminum, in order to achieve a refined and elegant profile. One of its main characteristics is the all-glass sliding system positioned outside the structure, which creates a dematerialization of partitions and sense of continuity between open-air living and the indoor environment of one’s home. This system allows each side of the pergola to be opened and closed depending on temperature, time of day, desired atmosphere, and external weather conditions. In case of rain, the perimeter eaves allow a collection of water that gutters into the poles and then dispersed laterally. This ensures the impermeability of the space below and allows it to be used as shelter from unexpected bad weather.
The cover consists of aluminum blades that can be adjusted from zero to 140 degrees, with the goal of achieving better regulation of the climatic comfort of R608 Pergosky. The tilts, rotation and orientation of these blades provide total or partial protection from the sun as needed and are calibrated through the use of a remote control.
This bioclimatic pergola can be further personalized through additional options, like the dimmable LED lighting system which provides gentle illumination in the late evening, drapes that create a sense of added freshness, or lateral closures that allow ever-so-slightly different configurations, joining the en plein air experience and the haven of home.
