The second edition of Perspective Smart City, the leading forum for innovation in urban design and management, is scheduled to take place in Naples, Italy, December 1-2, 2025. Created by Maggioli Group and THE PLAN magazine, the event represents an exclusive platform for dialogue between public administrations, design professionals, architectural and engineering firms, and leading smart technology companies.
On the occasion of Perspective Smart City 2025, the forum will be enriched by the contribution of a new website dedicated to the smart city and to all the topics that revolve around it. These include digital technologies, circular economy, urban regeneration strategies, electric mobility, green urbanism, and all those smart design and planning strategies aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens, the efficiency of public services, and the environmental sustainability of urban centers.
On December 1 and 2, Naples will become a two-day laboratory for new urban perspectives: from the Urban Regeneration Experience in the Bagnoli Italsider environmental redevelopment area — a symbol of rebirth and sustainability — to conferences and panel discussions on smart infrastructure, digital citizenship, public-private partnerships, and new forms of living.
Now in its second edition, Perspective Smart City builds on the many years of experience of the Perspective format, launched in 2009. This high-level network brings together public and private stakeholders to address today’s urban challenges and foster meaningful connections, updates, discussion and business development.
The forum involves public administrations and political representatives, architectural and engineering firms active at the urban scale, developers and real estate operators, innovative companies in the automotive, utilities, telecommunications, infrastructure, smart mobility, energy, smart home, AI and digitization sectors. A high-level audience united by the goal of building smarter, more sustainable, and inclusive cities.
Perspective Smart City consists of two days of B2B meetings, plenaries, thematic panels, technical workshops and informal networking moments.
