Midi: Innovation and Timeless Elegance for the Bathroom

Organic and minimalist geometric styles come together in this new showpiece bathroom collection from Palazzani. Designed by Andrea Zani in collaboration with the firm’s design unit, the new Midi series includes single-lever faucets in multiple heights, sink and shower faucets with remote-control operation, tub- and shower-rim mounted sets, wall-mounted showerheads, and a selection of coordinated accessories. The range celebrates the essential simplicity of shapes, with an aesthetic that is subtle yet decisive. This allows it to harmonize with a variety of designs and styles.

From first glance, Midi’s distinctive language of form and material stands out, making the range smooth to the touch and inviting to the eye. The smooth shape of every element creates the impression that they were sculpted by flowing water.

Along with its striking appearance, Midi stands out for its technology, with a series of next-generation innovations incorporated into the range. Examples include the Unico® universal concealed installation system, and the Acquaclima® temperature-regulation feature for a uniform flow set by the user. The Easy-clean® system is a simple way to reduce scale build up, while Drop-Stop® prevents water from leaking through the mounting hole with deck-mounted faucets. There’s also the Acquagreen® water-saving kit, and, last but not least, the No-hot® system that keepsfaucet surfaces comfortably cool, even after prolonged hot water use.

Palazzani has also taken advantage of the latest tech for plating and finishes. The Cromo Zero trivalent chrome-plating process, for example, eliminates all harmful hexavalent chromium from the Midi line. The collection is also available with PVD Color Technology, which creates finishes with deep, durable colors, while HRP Technology improves corrosion and chemical resistance by 82 percent over conventional coatings.
