Handle: Turning Handles into Lighting

Blending memory and innovation, aesthetics and functionality, LND – Landa Illuminotecnica has reinterpreted and transformed an interior-design classic into a versatile, evocative light source. Part of the firm’s Technical range, Handleserves as both a visual cue in a space and a guide in the dark, a little like a lighthouse beacon.

Versatile, hard-wearing, and available in small, medium, and large (300 mm, 400 mm, 500 mm), Handle can be fitted as a ceiling lamp, wall lamp, or bollard. And its versatility extends to installation, with the option of fitting individual units or multiple units combined in custom patterns.

The innovative Handle also redefines outdoor lighting. With its 360-degree rotating luminaire head, it’s possible to direct light to exactly where it’s needed. With LND always prioritizing visual comfort, this precise control produces an efficient, non-glare light. Power can be remote or integrated, depending on the format. The height of the bollard version can be adjusted with an installation kit that includes two options.

Special care was devoted to Handle’s five finishes – Black, Gray, Graphite, White, and Oxide – making it suitable for any application. Ranging from 4 W to 12 W, its LED modules deliver excellent color rendering. Five beam patterns are also available: Spot, Medium, Wide Flood, Elliptic with a clear-glass diffuser, and Diffuse with an opal diffuser.
