From April 20 to 26, 2026, alongside the Salone del Mobile, Fuorisalone will present a dense calendar of exhibitions, installations, and events that transform Milan’s neighborhoods, showrooms, museums, and public spaces into an open laboratory of ideas, confirming its role as an unmissable event for professionals and creatives, as well as for schools and institutions.
With the theme “Being a Project”, this edition invites participants to rediscover design as a dynamic and responsible process in which human beings are at the center as interpreters of change. “Being a Project” means recognizing the value of the process that every creative act requires. In this sense, the theme aims to explore the relationship between humans and artificial intelligence, inviting us to inhabit this hybrid relationship where human intuition and algorithmic logic coexist, generating new and shared forms of creativity.

Among the new features of the 2026 edition is the debut of Fuorisalone Passport, a digital passport promoted by Fuorisalone and developed by Studiolabo that will allow visitors to access events through a single personalized QR code, with the goal of simplifying the visiting experience and encouraging interaction between the public, brands, and exhibition spaces.
In collaboration with the Politecnico di Milano, e.Reporter invites students and young creatives to tell the story of the initiative through their own eyes by producing photographs and audiovisual content, with the opportunity to contribute to the collective narrative of the event. Over the years, the project has produced more than 300,000 images, becoming a collective archive of Fuorisalone’s memory.

Curated by Studiolabo, the fifth edition of the Fuorisalone Award recognizes the most memorable content and installations presented by companies and designers during Milano Design Week.
