Urban regeneration and recovery is well underway at one of Milan’s time-honored historical gateways, between the Navigli, Portello and one of Milan’s most multifaceted areas, the Corvetto and Calvairate neighborhoods: the residential projects of Milano City Village, Palazzo Naviglio, Porta Naviglio Grande, Savona 105, Trilogy Towers, and the Lambrate Twin Palace, six buildings totaling some 500 apartments executed by AbitareIn and furnished in partnership with Colombini Group Contract.
Specializing in turnkey design for the residential, hôtellerie and office sectors, the Colombini Group brand entered into an agreement with the Milan residential development company to supply furniture under the Febal Casa brand, one of six Colombini Group companies offering a variety of solutions in different styles and for varying budgets. On such projects, the specialized contract brand stands out for managing and overseeing all stages of furniture design, production, supply, installation and assembly, espousing AbitareIn’s tailor-made, customization-led philosophy.
Set in the evolving Calvairate neighborhood next to the Porta Romana district, Milano City Village is a 76-apartment complex kicking off urban regeneration on the site of former Telecom Italia offices.
Palazzo Naviglio and Porta Naviglio Grande are a buzzing combination of innovation in a historically industrial area currently under transformation. The second of the two complexes presents an interplay of solids, voids, and textural and chromatic contrasts, using essential lines and contemporary design as a common thread that runs through all of its living solutions, thanks in part to large windows in spacious, airy rooms overlooking the city or outdoor loggias.
A short distance from the Canal Naviglio Grande, Savona 105 is characterized by its surrounding urban oasis, large common spaces starting with a gatehouse lounge, and an interplay of geometric shapes that culminate in loggias and outdoor lounges.
Trilogy Towers, three towers in the Portello district, is another important piece in the puzzle to redevelop this previously underdeveloped area. The complex’s 101 apartments’ interiors and loggias, equipped as veritable outdoor living rooms from which to admire the Milanese skyline, are elegantly appointed.
Last but not least, Lambrate Twin Palace is a design that gentrifies the location’s former industrial existence. Positioned to maximize natural light, the building accommodates fully-customizable apartments with private terraces and loggias.
