From February 6 to 8, 2026, Arte Fiera returns to Bologna. Continuing the trend of recent editions, Arte Fiera and Fondazione Furla are renewing their collaboration on the live performance program, curated by Bruna Roccasalva, the foundation’s artistic director.
The featured artist for 2026 is Chalisée Naamani, following in the footsteps of previous contributors: the collective Public Movement in 2023, Daniela Ortiz in 2024, and Adelaide Cioni in 2025. Performances will take place in the Padiglione de l’Esprit Nouveau, located in the park just outside the fairgrounds.

Born in 1995 and based in Paris, Chalisée Naamani develops a multidisciplinary practice spanning painting, sculpture, fashion, and image technologies. Her work explores identity construction and the ways the body is represented in contemporary visual culture, creating a continuous dialogue between mainstream imagery, art history, and autobiography.
Her works often take the form of assemblages made from recycled materials and printed fabrics featuring images from a constantly evolving personal archive. These result in what Naamani calls “vêtements-images”—image-clothes conceived as paintings or sculptures, not intended to be worn.

Naamani will present Wardrobe at Arte Fiera, a new project that blends performance, sculpture, and installation within the Padiglione de l’Esprit Nouveau, transforming the building into a layered environment of images and materials.
This intervention comes at a significant moment for the pavilion, which between 2025 and 2027 is celebrating the centenary of its design and the 50th anniversary of its realization in Bologna.
