Architect Michele Zago envisioned the monograph A Matter of Detail as a logbook that charts his studio’s course by marking its ports of departure. Dedicated to Zago’s Lugano-based studio and published by THE PLAN Editions, the volume – in Italian with English on the facing pages – showcases projects completed by Michele Zago Architetti over the last six years, grouped into four fields: residential, mountain, sport and leisure, and regeneration and reuse.

Five special inserts punctuate the narrative, offering in‐depth explorations of key themes in Michele Zago Architetti’s practice: the study of detail, relationship with context, construction management, the evolution of the project, and the role of light in architecture.
