The debate on the digitalization of the built environment sector has a central position in the government agendas of many industrialized countries, investing above all the training profiles, the statutes of professionals and the methods of controlling the organizational, design, construction and management processes of the works. This volume is conceived within Architectural Technology studies, collecting contributions by researchers and designers on the digitalization processes, investigating the type of educational offer of some national realities, delineating some significant examples of applied research of the disciplines of the project, as well as presenting design and construction processes in Italy and abroad, on the scenarios of innovation in relation to the use of BIM methodology.
