We live in towns in a daily, sometimes instantaneous, transformation. Cities that try to be innovative by bottom up initiatives where spatial and service designers act as facilitators of processes. Their temporary urban solutions generate urban scenarios, create places, interact with a city actress in a daily spectacle, here presented.

Davide Fassi
Davide Fassi Architect, graduated in 2000, PhD in 2006 at Politecnico di Torino, Italy. Since 2001 he has been involved in set-design for television and events. He joined several national and international research projects on subjects such as design for students accom-modation and post disasters settlements, environmental assessment of buildings, new functions in urban context. He taught at Politecnico di Torino and currently he is teach-ing at BSc and MSc in Interior Design and MSc Product Service System Design at Politecnico di Milano where he is temporary research fellow and coordinator of GIDE (Group for International Design Education).
