Out in September, THE PLAN 140 features ten articles on large-scale projects from around the world, beginning with the editorial, “Synthetic Nature” by Winka Dubbeldam, and continuing on to projects by Zhu Pei in China and Brooks + Scarpa in California. Along the way there’s also a monolithic design by Aires Mateus, a seemingly floating structure by Thomas Phifer and Partners, the transparency of UNStudio’s architecture, and the panoramic views of projects by WMR Arquitectos and WORKac. Finally, we look at the Armenian Church of San Sarkis designed by David Hotson.
