Practical, Minimal but Frameless

With the new AS PD 75.HI Panorama Design aluminum sliding and panoramic system, Schüco has created a range of door and window frames that can be used by architects who want to provide lots of natural light – thanks to the frameless appearance – and a connection between inside and outside, thanks to the flush threshold. Despite the essential appearance due in part to the narrow interlock section only being 35 mm, Schüco AS PD 75.HI is remarkably robust, able to support glazed areas of up to 3.5 m in height and 800 kg in weight (in the automated sliding TipTronic version).

Extensive glazing has a strong visual impact that is ideal for almost all projects, as it combines fantastic design freedom with improved living comfort, an aspect that is further enhanced by the integration of Schüco TipTronic automation technologies into the window frame, without compromising the minimalist design. Schüco AS PD 75.HI is not only a solution that combines esthetics and automation, it also guarantees excellent insulation and water resistance as well as a burglar resistance class of up to RC3 (in the Performance Line version). The three versions offered in the range, Access Line, Design Line and Performance Line, can be manufactured in different configurations and each prioritizes accessibility – with a barrier-free flush threshold that eliminates the possibility of stumbling, esthetics – by making the aluminum profiles of the frame disappear into the masonry and using a pull handle that is perfectly integrated into the sash, and the combination of all the above aspects thanks to the Lift-and-Slide technology.
