Mosaico+ welcome you to Cersaie 2017 for an immersion in a unique experience, a journey into parallel worlds with a dreamlike, fantastic dimension. The unknown, the irrational, the fairytale and the juxtaposition of out-of-scale shapes and objects lead us into a place of boundless images, of wonder and amazement, overturning all the established rules. The desire to immerse yourself in nature, in an intense, deep sensory dimension, plays on the profoundest strings of our emotions, in the bright shine and richness of mosaics that interpret nature’s ever-changing aesthetic with surprising energy and vitality.
The aim is to induce visitors to temporarily lose their bearings in a feeling of wonder before such magnificence, and experience the thrill of the unexpected. An impossible architecture highlights a creative concept that expands, pursuing compositional rules that evoke contemporary design with no beginning or end, opening onto a fantastic world where the imagination is free to take wing. A space where mosaics reveal the exquisite, tactile beauty of natural amorphous forms with the aid of artistic and computerised mosaic techniques, with creations that will take your breath away.
In its BOTANIC TALE COLLECTION, the delicate breath of nature conceals tales captured by the soul and reworked by ingenuity, in a process that first identifies its rules and then subverts them using new forms and materials, with the aid of creativity and imagination, artistic tradition and technology. This is one definition of mosaic: an art which is both ancient and modern, patient and silent, which uses fresh aesthetic codes to express natural beauty sublimated into rich, exquisite compositions, a graceful, attractive accompaniment to our daily lives. Nature can be recounted in many different ways, through tales that describe its most significant traits, its sometimes-bizarre shapes and its allusions to a world of boundless images, primordial sensations, and colors and variable shades steeped in light, natural loveliness and emotion.
Botanic Tale is a collection of mosaics with modular patterns, able to adapt to surfaces of all sizes, and mixes of chips in the 10x10 mm size, in an original interpretation of the shapes and colors of an image-rich botanical garden, where reality and imagination meet. The versatile, contemporary decorations define space with subtle harmony, adapting perfectly to locations of all sizes. Surfaces created with glazes and glasses with different levels of transparency and iridescence interweave and combine to create stylized decorative motifs with constantly varying shades, a blend of light and color. The mosaic itself, an environment-friendly, sustainable material made from natural powders and minerals, becomes an intelligent part of a project built around nature, with respect for its most profound identity.
