Designed around key factors like acoustic comfort, ergonomics, and aesthetics, Abramo Impianti’s new headquarters is a modern, functional work environment with innovative furnishings with clean lines that transmit both a sense of energy and welcome. The new headquarters of the Friuli-based company has 18,300 sq.ft. (1700 m2) of total floor space on two floors. It’s the product of a major functional and services overhaul overseen by architect Federico Rinoldi, who was in charge of site management as well as layout and interior design. This is a workplace with well-organized spatial layouts in the management, operational, waiting, and circulation areas, as well as in the meeting and conference rooms and storage spaces. Along with rooms used by facilities staff, the storage rooms are at ground level, while the management, administrative, and reception offices are upstairs.
Quadrifoglio Group was involved in interpreting the overall building concept, the needs of the company, and furnishing and equipping the offices. The firm contributed to creating large workspaces with a welcoming mood and elegant, clean looks. The potential of the open spaces was fully exploited, largely through the use of Quadrifoglio Group’s M1 partitions, which establish a visual continuity between different areas. The overall impression created is of spaciousness, with long, unobstructed sightlines.
This wasn’t at the expense of the comfort – including acoustic – of the spaces, however. The walls between the various rooms ensure both privacy and sharing, brightness and sound insulation. Then, to further improve the acoustic comfort of shared spaces, Lightsound panels were installed on the walls and ceilings, which, as suggested by the name itself, combine lighting with sound absorption properties to dampen reverberation in closed spaces. These panels are a modular, fully configurable product that gives workspaces a more welcoming feel. Its Cloak (triangular) and Petal (petal-shaped) versions are available in sunny yellow, beige, and orange. Aesthetics, functionality, and comfort come together in these products with high decorative value.
Both the offices and meeting rooms were furnished to be both functional and attractive, with Idea+01 desks and Omnia seats in the offices, and conference tables with Clue chairs and City armchairs in the meeting rooms. Dove gray velvet upholstery used for the chairs in the meeting rooms give them a more enveloping feel and create an inviting atmosphere.
A Z1 reception desk welcomes visitors to the second floor, with its geometric and clean volumes enhanced by LED strips. In front of the counter are City Lounge armchairs, again in dove gray, and a Montreal coffee table with a porcelain stoneware top.
The management offices are especially elegant, with seats and armchairs for both formal meetings and relaxation. An executive lounge area has Cleopas armchairs with green upholstery contrasting with a Montreal coffee table with a Nero Greco porcelain stoneware top.
“The consultancy provided by Quadrifoglio Group, along with the collaboration of architect Rinoldi, was clear and on point, with every furnishing element responding to our needs,” said Marta Abramo, company brand manager. “The designs are contemporary but never bland, different but never exaggerated, with rare quality and attention to detail. The service was professional, fast, and accurate, while the support was constant.”
