With its design of the Foscarin Ferro pharmacy inside the Mestrino Health Center, Novembre Studio has redefined the traditional concept of a pharmacy, transforming the store into an innovative space that combines design with technology and makes people’s health central.
By expanding the idea of pharmacies as stores that simply sell medicines to spaces that provide personalized care and advice, the project aims to set a new standard in pharmacy design.
The symmetry of an Italianate garden provided the inspiration for the interiors of this street-level drugstore, with the layout revolving around a central hub. Concentric display units define fluid, orderly pathways, while ceiling-height shelving highlights the products in dynamic, innovative ways.
Dominated by white and light blue tones, the color palette evokes a feeling of calmness, perfectly reflecting the mission of the store.

In the middle of the space is a marble bust. Created by Fabio Novembre for Citco Design, the sculpture expresses the centrality of people in the design. Oval-shaped wall niches with glass shelving both recall classical arches, but reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, as well as the shape of a tablet.
Extensive glazing lets in abundant natural light, while relaxation areas, with iconic Nemo armchairs designed by Fabio Novembre, offer a comfortable and inviting setting for customers.
With curved monitors for viewing multimedia content, the main counter has a futuristic high-tech design. Smaller freestanding counters dot the space, while several back office areas are available for private consultations. A children’s area underscores the idea of a space that provides care for the whole family.
