Experience and Innovation in Parquet
By Editorial Staff -
Garbelotto has participated in the project

Garbelotto, based in the northern Italian province of Treviso, specializes in parquet, wood paneling and decorative wall coverings. Founded in 1950 by Giacomo Garbelotto, who opened a sawmill on the banks of the Meschio River before converting it into a wood-flooring workshop, the company is now in its fourth generation, led by Antonio Garbelotto with his wife Renza and their son Marco, proudly carrying forward a family tradition grounded in innovation and sustainability.

Parquet remains at the core of production, alongside wood paneling, decking and accessories such as baseboards, thresholds and decorative wall coverings. The versatile, modular range offers a wide choice of different woods, finishes and surface treatments, enabling tailor-made solutions for any project. Laying patterns range from timeless classics – straight planks, herringbone, square patterns – to more intricate, mixed designs.

One standout innovation is Clip Up System®, a patented method that uses recyclable, self-extinguishing polymer clips. Laid directly on the subfloor, the clips lock into the underside grooves of each plank, without the need for glue or magnets. Individual boards can be removed and replaced, allowing the entire floor to be inspected. This system also makes installation faster, ensures a secure hold both vertically and horizontally and reflects the principles of sustainability and circularity. Thanks in part to this system, Garbelotto has earned EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) certification, which assesses environmental impact across a product’s life cycle.

The company’s environmental commitment includes a transparent, short supply chain, with production carried out entirely in Italy – from the selection of raw materials to finishing. Its headquarters, which also house offices and a showroom, are located between Venice and the Dolomites, where woodworking traditions run deep. The company’s heritage of craftsmanship is about to meet the pulse of the city with the debut of Garbelotto Studio Milano.
