Coverpiù - Innovative roofing with multi-layered, bendable panels

Coverpiù by Ondulit is a multi-layered steel panel suited to continuous structures, including ceiling and roof frames made of concrete, concrete and masonry, prestressed concrete or wood. 

The panels are designed to ensure excellent durability combined with superb heat and sound insulation. The ventilation channels allow air to circulate between the insulation layer and the roofing, cutting heat expansion and reducing the temperature on the external side of the insulation layer, in summer, to ensure better performance and greater interior comfort. The multi-layered protection is also soundproof, reducing noise from rain and hail by a third more than standard panels. 

The upper layer of the panel is slightly larger than the insulation and lower layers to prevent rising damp and general deterioration. The end sections of the insulation layer can be additionally protected by special fillets that allow ventilation. 

The bendable version of Coverpiù is especially innovative, with the roofing being custom curved in the factory according to the roof curve. This avoids the need to make changes on site during assembly. The panels are flat when packed and transported, but naturally assume the required curvature once on the structure. The panels can be customised in numerous ways, including the external colour, the height of the insulating layer, the internal finish, the overlaps of the end sections and even the degree to which the upper layer extends beyond the other layers.
