Kalzip has participated in the project

Kalzip has been shaping aluminum architecture for nearly six decades. Founded in 1967 in Koblenz, Germany – between the Rhine and the Moselle – as an offshoot of the American company Kaiser Aluminum and now part of the Donges Group, the firm installed its first aluminum roof just a year later on the Nuremberg Congress Hall. Since then, its portfolio has expanded to include major international projects, from Turin’s Stadio delle Alpi, once home to Juventus and Torino FC, to King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The scale the company has grown to is equally evident in the numbers: more than 110 million sq. m of profiled aluminum sheets installed in Europe and worldwide, many using products made from recycled European material – typically 75% to 95%. This has the knock-on effect of delivering significant energy savings in production.

One of the latest additions is the Kalzip FlexForm® meander façade, conceived to maximize creative and design freedom through its folded decorative pattern. The system supports countless variations: bent aluminum profiles create relief-like surfaces articulated by crisp, rhythmic lines, while the Kalzip FlexForm® Ultra version enables fully customized solutions. Architects can define angles, depths, geometries and spacing according to project needs, further enhanced by a wide range of finishes, gloss levels and colors. A signature option is the AluPlusPatina finish, which delivers a natural matte metallic look in bronze, copper and gold tones. Alternatively, high-performance coating allows virtually any color selection while ensuring outstanding resistance to UV exposure and weathering. Durability and high corrosion resistance are further fundamental features of these products.

All Kalzip aluminum building systems meet the highest technical construction standards without compromising on the powerful visual impact, positioning them as an architectural choice that conveys both value and identity. “With Kalzip FlexForm®, architects can compose their own building façade, defining its rhythm to achieve greater freedom in terms of technology, cost efficiency and sustainability”, says Valeria Parolin, Sales Manager Italy at Kalzip.
