The De' Longhi Group Headquarters project emerged from the desire to regenerate a site devastated by a 2007 fire. In 2015, the company repurposed the land for its new headquarters, aiming to connect the various activities of the business. The design integrates the existing industrial architecture with natural elements, balancing rigid workspaces with fluid green spaces. Sustainable materials such as concrete, aluminum, and glass were selected for their durability, energy efficiency, and aesthetic appeal. An internal garden with organic paths and green dunes creates a connection between the indoors and outdoors, transforming an urban void into a thriving, functional campus.
The project transforms a former asphalted void into a vibrant space with green courtyards and organic pathways, establishing a seamless connection between interior and exterior. It integrates industrial architecture with natural elements, contrasting rigid workspaces with flowing landscaped areas. The internal courtyard offers a serene space for employees to reconnect with nature. This approach not only enhances the work environment but also contributes to the urban fabric by introducing green spaces in an otherwise industrialized area. The project promotes sustainability and improves the surrounding landscape, fostering collaboration and well-being.
The decision to specify coated metal for the building's envelope was driven by aesthetic, functional, and sustainability considerations. Aluminum, chosen for its durability, recyclability, and lightweight properties, is ideal for the building's facades. The coating applied to the metal enhances its aesthetic appeal, creating a textured white finish that contrasts with the existing industrial structure and highlights key architectural features. Furthermore, using metal aligns with the project's commitment to sustainability, as it is long-lasting and recyclable, minimizing environmental impact over time.
The project prioritizes sustainability through thoughtful material selection and design strategies. Concrete, chosen for its durability, forms the building's foundation and structure. Aluminum, a recyclable and lightweight material, is used for the facades, improving both aesthetics and energy efficiency. Large glass panels maximize natural light, reducing the need for artificial lighting. The design incorporates green spaces, including an internal garden with organic paths and green dunes, enhancing biodiversity and employee well-being. This project reflects a commitment to sustainability by integrating natural elements, fostering a connection between the built environment and nature.
The De' Longhi Group Headquarters regenerates a former industrial site, transforming a degraded area into a vibrant, sustainable workspace. The design harmonizes rigid industrial workspaces with fluid, organic shapes in the landscape. An internal courtyard, framed by the building, offers a natural retreat, enhancing well-being and creativity. The courtyard, with green dunes and organic paths, serves as an oasis in the urban environment. Sustainability is central, reflected in the use of concrete, aluminum, and glass. Concrete ensures structural durability, while aluminum (recyclable and lightweight) forms the facades. Large glass panels maximize natural light, reducing reliance on artificial lighting and improving energy efficiency. These materials meet both functional requirements and environmental goals. Architecturally, elements like the entrance hall with tensile facades and the suspended stair tower highlight the capabilities of glass and steel. The open-plan layout, with precast double-T slabs, provides flexible and spacious office floors. Terraces and green spaces enhance the connection between indoors and outdoors, fostering a healthy work environment. This project goes beyond office space, creating a campus that promotes interaction, sustainability, and well-being. The combination of modern architecture, sustainable practices, and natural elements makes this headquarters a model for future corporate developments.

Our passion for shapes, materials, and creating practical yet beautiful objects drives each project. Our designs are clear-cut, linear, and simple. Ideas stem from everyday life and practical needs rather than nature. Curiosity leads us to experiment with new combinations and explore new paths. Tradition and experience guide us, reminding us to look to the past to envision the future.
We are designers, craftsmen, researchers, storytellers, and architects, but most of all, we are dreamers. Collaborating with brands and clients worldwide, we embrace cultural differences and diverse project approaches.
