The concept draws inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of Jiangnan, grounding itself in traditional Eastern garden philosophy while embracing contemporary materials and craftsmanship. Influenced by Nanjing’s historical context, the design distills cultural narratives through refined geometry, textures, and spatial transitions—expressing timeless elegance with a modern sensibility. Spaces are structured to evoke emotional resonance and ritual, with corridors, shifting light, and layered materials shaping a tranquil, immersive experience.

The project establishes a poetic dialogue with its surroundings by balancing movement and stillness. It leverages site topography to create layered spatial experiences—like an elevated viewing platform and sunken courtyard—that blend architecture and landscape. Contrasting natural woods with refined stone forms, the design merges urban sophistication with natural serenity, creating a seamless connection between city life and tranquil retreat.
The project blends nature, art, and cultural meaning, redefining urban residential living with an elegant, contemporary interpretation of Eastern aesthetics. Through refined material choices and detailed craftsmanship, it explores new expressions of understated luxury rooted in everyday life. The design emphasizes immersive, emotionally resonant spaces, where architecture extends beyond the home into shared and public areas, forming a holistic lifestyle matrix. It is a poetic, warm and vibrant environment where we not only design space but also conceive life. The scope of the home is no longer confined to one room, but extends to the community or communal space. At this point, the home is no longer just an enclosed space behind closed doors, but an internal and external matrix that serves people; the radius of life around the ideal residence slowly unfolds to the bottom of everyone's heart!
The project is very satisfied with the local culture, the oriental aesthetics is ‘hidden in the city’, in the city to create a place of urban holiday spirit, a preview of modern art of life dimensions.
