Ampere Living was conceived to transform an obsolete office building in Città Studi into a contemporary residential complex that unites memory and innovation. The strategy focused on regenerating existing volumes, preserving the architectural balance of the neighborhood while introducing modern standards of comfort, efficiency, and livability. The project began with the ambition to reinterpret the building’s identity through refined façades and durable materials, ensuring continuity with the past while projecting the site into a sustainable and future-oriented vision

Ampere Living establishes a meaningful dialogue with Città Studi by respecting its historic identity while introducing contemporary solutions. The new façades, defined by refined rhythms and durable materials, restore harmony with the urban fabric and enhance natural light, ventilation, and livability. Residences are designed as flexible, bright environments that integrate seamlessly into the neighborhood, offering comfort and quality of life. Common areas are conceived as domestic yet collective spaces, naturally connected to the city, renewing the relationship between architecture and community.

Prior to construction, a remediation process improved soil permeability and ensured environmental safety. Great attention was devoted to the recovery and reuse of materials, minimizing waste and reducing the ecological footprint. The project integrates advanced energy solutions such as geothermal systems and photovoltaic panels, combined with a high‑performance envelope and efficient installations. These strategies guarantee thermal well‑being, reduced energy consumption, and long‑term sustainability for all housing units. Ampere Living is fully compliant with the EU Taxonomy, positioning itself as a benchmark of responsible urban regeneration aligned with European standards for sustainable investment.

Living

Ampere Living distinguishes itself by combining respect for local tradition with design innovation. The regeneration of the original volume delivers a building upgraded in technology, performance, and spatial organization, without altering the architectural balance of the neighborhood. Residences are conceived to offer bright, flexible environments with solutions that enhance comfort and quality of life: large openings, carefully studied views, and durable materials with refined detailing. Sustainability is embodied in advanced energy systems, a high-performance envelope, and strategies that transform an obsolete structure into a living, efficient organism. Common areas, naturally integrated into the urban fabric, create a contemporary domestic setting that renews the relationship between architecture and context while reinterpreting the identity of Città Studi in a modern key. The intervention becomes an exemplary case of sensitive urban regeneration, uniting memory and innovation in a coherent and enduring project.
