The idea for Carlo stems from Dante Benini's connection with Carlo Scarpa, as his grandfather lived in the courtyard of Scarpa’s studio. From a young age, Benini studied Scarpa's works, including a simple drip tray designed to prevent damage to façades. He collaborates with Antrax it and co-signs the project with Andrea Crosetta, transforming this shape into a "heating object", designed for every bathroom, as a humble yet meaningful tribute to Scarpa, one of Italy's greatest architects.

Carlo engages subtly with its surrounding context by echoing a detail rooted in Venice’s architectural dialogue with water. Inspired by Scarpa’s drip tray, it brings an urban gesture into the home. Its recyclable materials and low energy use reflect sustainable values, while its minimal form adapts to diverse spaces without disrupting their balance. Carlo is a quiet, respectful insertion—a domestic micro-architecture born from the landscape and built heritage.

More than 15 years after the first collaboration, Antrax IT collaborates again with architect Dante O. Benini for the Carlo & Tina collection, co-signed by Andrea Crosetta, which pays tribute to the master Carlo Scarpa.
