The idea stemmed from the growing need for acoustic privacy and mental well-being within open-plan office environments. From the beginning, the aim was not only to create a functional product, but to design an object that offers a nature-inspired experience within the workplace—helping users to pause, calm down, and mentally refresh. Depending on personal preference or spatial context, users can choose between the atmospheres of the ocean, the forest, or outer space. The concept evolved around the notion of “a room within a room,” where function is combined with sensory immersion. Each atmosphere guided the booth’s design through carefully selected materials, lighting, and colors, transforming a technical object into a spatial experience rooted in emotional response.

The phone booths are designed to integrate seamlessly into office interiors rather than stand apart from them. Their transparent glass enclosures reflect light and mirror elements of the office environment, creating a subtle interaction with the space around them. They are not rigid furniture pieces but spatial installations that bring depth and atmosphere into the office. Rather than dominating the workspace, they enhance it—offering a sense of calm and retreat within the dynamic rhythm of everyday work life.
Although sustainability was not the primary driver, the booths integrate several environmentally conscious elements. Energy-efficient LED lighting and motion-activated ventilation systems help minimize power consumption. The booths are mobile and adaptable, which promotes long-term usability and reduces the need for reconstruction in dynamic office environments. Acoustic materials not only enhance sound absorption but also contribute to healthier, less stressful workplaces. The product has not yet received formal awards or certifications but was designed with long-term value, flexibility, and comfort in mind.
The project features three phone booths designed for two people, each offering a unique atmosphere: ocean, forest, or outer space. Though equal in size and function, they differ in mood, shaped by materials, lighting, and color palettes. Each booth is a small, immersive world that supports privacy, focused work, and emotional well-being in noisy office environments. Key features include acoustic furniture, sound-absorbing finishes, LED lighting, USB ports, power outlets, and automatic ventilation. Enclosed in transparent glass, the booths subtly integrate into office interiors while offering visual lightness and spatial depth. More than furniture, they act as functional installations—calm zones that stimulate imagination and provide a moment of escape.
The booths go beyond functionality—they offer users a moment of escape and focus in a busy office environment. By drawing from natural and cosmic atmospheres, they reintroduce imagination and emotion into rational, efficiency-driven spaces. They’re not just objects, but experiences: spatial micro-worlds that invite calm, reflection, and sensory engagement.
