Located in a newly developed district on the urban periphery, the site is positioned along Yongshun Road—a 24-meter-wide main thoroughfare with sidewalks and green belts on both sides, totaling a width of 65 to 80 meters. It is adjacent to the north side of the Yinghua Street metro station and features a continuous 500-meter-long urban frontage. At its center, the site directly faces the landscape corridor of Sakura East Street to the south, naturally dividing the project into three sections: West Street, the Central Core, and East Street. The Central Core serves as a pedestrian plaza with standalone commercial buildings, while also functioning as the primary entrance plaza for the Juyue Mansion residential complex.

The project extends the Sakura East Street landscape corridor to the south, creating a 22m × 75m central plaza. Six standalone two-story commercial buildings align with the green axis, forming a cohesive architectural ensemble of varying sizes. These structures shape a network of pedestrian streets and alleys with diverse spatial scales. On the southern edges of West and East Streets, three six-story garden-style office buildings maintain a low-density urban fabric. The commercial inner street features a human-scaled, two-story arcade-style retail frontage. To the east, a standalone supermarket and lifestyle hub enhance the district’s vibrancy.
The massing strategy includes three six-story office buildings on the south and three two-story retail buildings on the north, optimizing function and ensuring at least two hours of winter sunlight for adjacent residences. Sustainability measures include aluminum panel operable vents for natural ventilation, reduced window-to-wall ratios to minimize heat loss, and triple-glazed glass façades for energy efficiency. Instead of full-glass curtain walls, partial solid walls lower energy demand. Despite an underground parking garage, tree planters in plazas support greenery, helping mitigate occasional extreme summer heat.
The project integrates external geometric extensions into its layout, utilizing the site's gentle slope to seamlessly connect elevation differences between the site and its surroundings. Within the internal streetscape, varying building heights, setbacks, and cantilevered eaves or open-frame structures create a dynamic and layered spatial experience. The façade design features chamfered surfaces of different scales, materials, and placements, harmonizing diverse architectural expressions. As the landscape design is conceived in unison with the urban and architectural planning, it reinforces the overarching vision while ensuring optimal sightlines for interior spaces. This suburban development delivers a surprising yet forward-thinking and comfortable environment that envisions future urban living.
