STØNE: the heat pump no longer meant to be hidden

INNOVA

The design concept starts from the need to provide the “motors” of the residential comfort of the future -the Heat Pumps – with a body suitable for integration into any domestic environment. Traditionally, the outdoor units of heat pumps are metallic rectangular boxes— visually unappealing and subject to numerous installation constraints, including the requirement to be installed at a certain distance from walls. The project that led to the creation of STØNE adopts a completely innovative, disruptive engineering approach to the product, allowing for a reconfiguration of the airflow of outdoor units, thereby improving both their installability and aesthetic appeal.

STØNE

The project stems from the primary goal of seamlessly integrating the product into the urban environment. The units feature a completely smooth surface and, in a special version, can even be recessed into the wall! This not only minimizes but entirely eliminates any visual impact on the building and its surroundings, preventing any issues related to clashing with the architectural aesthetics of the structures where STØNE will be installed.

STØNE

STØNE was created with the goal of revolutionising the aesthetic and functional impact of heat pumps in residential settings. Unlike traditional units, it is designed to blend seamlessly into facades, balconies, and urban environments, thanks to its completely smooth design. STØNE can even be recessed into the wall, eliminating any visual impact on the building. The innovative front ventilation system allows for installation directly against walls, with no clearance required, greatly enhancing installation flexibility. Quiet, modular, and highly efficient (A+++ class), STØNE embodies a unique engineering and architectural approach, where technology, comfort, and the urban landscape come together in a single sustainable design object.

Plus:
  • Modular range from 5 to 20 kW
  • R32 low-GWP refrigerant
  • Remote control via BUTLER PRO, the web-based system developed by INNOVA for full system management
