PACE emerged from an investigation into life cycles and rituals of transformation. Inspired by narratives about time and evolution, ARCHITECTS OFFICE developed the project as a vertical interpretation of human experience. Each of the three stacked volumes represents a distinct phase of life: beginning, transformation, and fulfillment. This conceptual framework guided the formal, programmatic, and spatial organization of the building, creating a journey from social integration at the base to contemplation at the top. The design reflects a sensitive approach to contemporary living in connection with the city and nature.

PACE establishes a deep dialogue with its surroundings through both physical and symbolic connections. Set within a preserved 1,900 sqm native forest in Curitiba’s Ecoville neighborhood, the building is enveloped by local species and an orchard, reinforcing its integration with the natural landscape. The volumetric composition allows for light, air, and vegetation to permeate the architecture at various levels. Transition zones between the blocks serve as communal spaces, enhancing the relationship between residents and the environment. This integration between built and natural elements fosters a new form of urban coexistence.
PACE prioritizes sustainability by preserving the native forest on site and integrating vegetation throughout the building’s facades and common areas. Natural ventilation, abundant daylight, and orientation towards Parque Barigui enhance environmental performance. The use of certified materials and energy-efficient systems aligns with eco-compatibility goals. Additionally, the project introduces a hospitality center and spa promoting holistic well-being. International recognition includes the Architizer A+ Awards 2024, Kyoto Global Design Awards 2024, and the AR Future Projects Awards 2025 (Tall Buildings category), reaffirming its architectural relevance and sustainability-driven approach.
PACE is a 160-meter-tall residential building in Curitiba that translates the human life cycle into architecture. Designed by ARCHITECTS OFFICE for AG7 Realty, it consists of three vertically stacked blocks, each representing a symbolic phase of life: the beginning, transformation, and fulfillment. The first block, closest to the ground, features studio units arranged within an orthogonal grid that reflects social organization and belonging. The second block, characterized by staggered slabs and abundant vegetation, expresses transformation and unpredictability through larger apartments and duplex units. Finally, the top block offers one apartment per floor, with minimalist slabs and panoramic 360° views, evoking a sense of balance and contemplation. Between these residential volumes, transitional leisure areas provide wellness, sports, and social spaces, marking shifts between the life stages the building symbolizes. The project stands on a preserved 1,900 m² native forest, integrating nature and architecture both at the ground level and along the facades through lush planters. PACE offers not just housing, but a sensorial living experience that blends spatial fluidity, natural light, and vegetation. Its design goes beyond conventional residential towers by materializing time, transformation, and connection in built form. International awards already received reinforce its status as a landmark for contemporary urban living.
We are proud to present PACE as the ultimate expression of well-being. With over 160 meters in height and 44 floors, it places residents at the center of a new urban experience-where nature is not an escape, but the environment itself. Lush verandas create a vertical forest that connects seamlessly to Barigui Park, establishing a one-of-a-kind relationship between architecture, landscape, and daily life.
