West-facing Panlong River, the design employs a stepped massing descending west. High-rises define the urban edge along Beijing Road, while low-rise wings unfold towards the river, framing views. Terraced gardens and setbacks channel water elements inward. Sunken courtyards with cascading water reflect the river, complemented by vertical greenery and lawns, creating a seamless transition to the riparian zone. Anchored on Beijing Road—Kunming's historic axis linking past and present—the project embodies "unfurling jade leaves." Icy-gray aluminum and glazing create a luminous play of light, echoing metropolitan vibrancy. Rooftop terraces and curves soften volumes, achieving harmonious scale with adjacent neighborhoods like Jinquan and Upper Waterside—a dialogue between history and modernity.
Confronting an exacting FAR of 5.03, the project orchestrates ecological harmony through sculpturally staggered volumes and a stratified verdant tapestry. Vine-draped balcony planters, terraced sky gardens, and intimate ground courtyards weave bespoke "celestial groves," gifting each residence a personalized sylvan sanctuary.
