Corte del Tiglio is a project born from the collaboration between Archventil and Rinofanto Development, the first real estate project to go on CrowdFundMe, as Sole24Ore announced. Located in Milan, in the rapidly developing Barona residential area, the project involved the construction of five housing units divided into two buildings, with large windows overlooking a private garden. Sustainability, design, comfort and technology, respect for the environment, and energy saving are some of the characteristics of the Corte del Tiglio apartments. In addition to the architectural aspect, Archventil also took care of the project brochure and the final staging to describe the spaces, to show the flexibility of the two-level flats and the importance of the interaction between indoors and outdoors.
With the pandemic, the tiredness of closed spaces and the forced life in traditional apartments has increased the demand for properties near green areas. Corte del Tiglio is located in one of the greenest Milan areas, the Barona historic district, near rice fields and old farmhouses. Well-connected with all Milan areas, it's a destination for art lovers and adventure-seekers. Within the district are the San Paolo Hospital, IULM and NABA universities, the College of Milan, the branch of the Medicine Pole of the State University. Rinofanto Development and Archventil exploited this urban space to create eco-smart apartments in the city. Each home blends with the surrounding greenery: by opening the panoramic windows wide, the border between the interior and the garden disappears.
Sustainability, design, comfort and technology, respect for the environment, and energy saving are some of the characteristics of the Corte del Tiglio apartments. Houses are connected and smart and include video surveillance, and a Wifi connection. It is possible to manage remote lights and energy through an App, or by vocal command through smart speakers. Each flat is equipped with radiant panels under the floor, a heating system that guarantees high comfort and considerable energy saving, and a heat pump for heating, cooling, and producing domestic hot water. This reduces energy consumption allowing better seasonal efficiency and cost savings. The management of the heating and cooling system can be done through a control panel, or remotely through a smartphone app.
The two volumes of the building, apparently independent, are two arms housing a courtyard with a huge linden tree in the centre, from which the project took its name. The apartments are inserted in a multifamily residential context, surrounded by private greenery and services common to all condominiums.
The five apartments are designed by Archventil for a better quality of life. Sustainable high-quality materials, heat pumps, and smart technology; Corte del Tiglio houses are solutions capable of guaranteeing energy efficiency, savings, optimal comfort and well-being, and also security thanks to video surveillance.
The units develop on two levels both overlooking private gardens, and large windows which provide them with remarkable brightness while giving an effect of general well-being. The interior design is refined and contemporary. Elegant Ton chairs give a feeling of hospitality and comfort. Salvatori's marble sculptures, sophisticated and timeless, evoke the image of a unique environment and highlights the attention to detail. The works of the Milanese artist Sofia Cacciapaglia bring the human figure into the lofts thanks to her canvases that depict bodies in motion.

Archventil is an international studio specialising in architecture and interior design founded by the designer Elena Tomlenova in Milan in 2012.
A multidisciplinary team works on architectural, residential, and commercial projects with a systemic approach aimed at realising spaces that give value to the experiences of those who live in the spaces. Archventil's creations are characterized by an international and contemporary taste that intercepts the interest of the cosmopolitan client, but the studio is capable of interpreting the genius loci by placing each project in its own context.
