The park adopts the design concept of a technological ecological island and divides the 1.7km linear space into six themed islands: Music Island, Art Island, Memorial Island, Vitality Island, Sports Island, and Organic Island. These islands are interconnected by a 3.5km running trail and a series of continuous sponge ecological facilities. The park not only serves as an outdoor exhibition venue for conferences and exhibitions but also integrates entertainment, cultural and creative activities with urban vitality, including performing arts, art exchange, ecological business, parent-child activities, and organic health experiences.
The Park, with its flexible and adaptable architectural structures, incorporates ecological farms, children's playgrounds, sports facilities, creative markets, commercial areas, and temporary exhibition spaces, becoming a functional extension of the convention center and injecting sustainable vitality into the park's development.The park wins 2022 "Guangdong Landscape Architecture Society Scientific and Technological Award" Second Prize in Landscape Planning and Design.
The park features six themed islands, each offering unique experiences.
The Memorial Island showcases a vertical forest concept on its south side, with vertical greening connecting from the B1 floor to the 2nd floor corridor roof. The north side features a cascading water memorial island, featuring a 45m wide, 7m high LED water curtain that acts as a voice transmitter.
Surrounded by music restaurants, the Music Island boasts a music lawn and a performance stage accommodating up to 1000 people. It incorporates 10 interactive technology light columns and a 120m LED circular screen, making it a future interactive music hub.
The Art Island focuses on art exhibitions and reserves space for car elevators and vehicle-friendly pavements, enabling outdoor and even car exhibitions in the future.
The Vitality Island seamlessly connects five commercial box courtyards, creating a green artistic setting. The area benefits from a shading system formed by green trees, flowing cloud corridors, and building eaves.
The Sports Island adopts a mountain-top theme, with an outdoor seating area under the stretched membrane of the Cloud Top Restaurant serving as a parental care zone for children's activities, fostering interaction between commerce and entertainment.
The Organic Island revolves around an edible garden theme, cultivating organic crops like mint, rosemary, Daylily, Miscanthus, lemon, and waxberry in the flower fields.
The park connects the surrounding urban areas and natural resources, relieving the traffic pressure on the subway below and creating a link between the exhibition and commercial sectors. It forms a vibrant and ecologically leisurely elevated park.
