Netti Architetti
After graduating with honors in the early 80s in Florence, Lorenzo Netti founded Netti Architetti with Gloria Valente in 1998, creating a practice that focuses on design, planning and research. Their projects and objects have been published in various industry journals and even displayed at the Venice Biennale in 1996, 2002 and 2018, and various other exhibitions in Italy and around the world. Architecture is the sphere for their research, with design, drawing and photography the specific tools they use to explore land, places, cities and towns. Lorenzo Netti is a lecturer of Architectural Design at the Polytechnic University in Bari, where he has also given classes on architectural composition. He has taught at the Academy of Fine Arts in the same southern Italian city. He is an editor for Il Progetto, an architecture, art, communication and design magazine. In 2015, his book Basic Architecture was published by Librìa. He is currently involved with various designs and creations for the Polytechnic and the City of Bari.
