Almar Giardino di Costanza Resort & Spa is located on the west coast of Sicily, near Mazara del Vallo. The Almablu Spa, designed by Studio Apostoli, evokes ancient Sicily through three themed areas inspired by Norman, Arab and Roman dominations. Each area combines design and unique wellness treatments, such as bio-saunas, hammams and emotional showers. The design uses precious materials such as marble and mosaics and concludes with an indoor pool.

The large wellness area of Almar Giardino di Costanza follows the design philosophy and evokes ancient Sicily, thus becoming the place of choice for a multisensory journey, a mosaic of cultures, traditions and treatments that combine harmoniously in a tailor-made environment. The three thematic areas that compose it re-propose the typical elements of the most influential Sicilian dominations: Norman, Arab and Roman. The journey begins in the Norman world that consists of a medium-temperature bio-sauna and a Finnish sauna with an immersion pool. It continues in the large hammam of Arab-Roman inspiration, consisting of the tepidarium, a large space made up of heated benches, recognisable by its high steam saturation, and the laconicum, a high-temperature room with a hot-water bath useful for detoxifying the body. Connecting the thematic areas, the rectangular ‘Arabian patio’ serves as an environment of decompression and symbolic passage between cultures: exotic-inspired wallpaper, illuminated water mirrors and gilded finishes accompany the visitor to the Turkish salt bath. In over twenty-five years, SA has realised hundreds of projects in almost all continents, obtaining numerous international recognitions, awards, and hundreds of publications. Aware of how the quality of life depends on the quality of the spaces in which we live, work or entertain ourselves, it professes the culture of Wellness with creativity and competence in all areas: SPAs, Hotels, Homes. In the design of SPAs, in particular, it is recognised as an international leader, contributing not only through iconic works but also through the conception of innovative products, research, dissemination and educational activities. The studio integrates design with consultancy services to accompany its clients in the strategic choices of management, positioning and communication.
