The project, located in the mountains with hills, water, rocks, and vegetation, aims to adapt to the terrain while minimizing environmental impact. The design emphasizes the connection between humans and nature, incorporating natural rocks and flowing water into the building interior. This approach not only demonstrates respect for nature but also serves as an ecological strategy. The thematic positioning of insect science education and nature awareness
Insects are closely related to nature, and their forms, behaviors, and habitats inspire the shaping of architectural language (such as biomimetic forms and spatial organization methods), while also fostering people's interest and passion for nature and insects.

Form Fusion: The architecture resembles an organically extended natural form, with rooftop lawns seamlessly blending into the mountain terrain, disappearing into the environment.


Element Symbiosis: Natural rocks and water features are incorporated indoors, strengthening ecological connections and echoing the insect-themed exhibition.


Visual Harmony: The umbrella-like structures and circular perforations on the main facade mimic insect characteristics, while the overall form resembles a "chameleon" crouching by the water's edge, subtly integrating into the landscape.


Core Relationship: The building "grows" humbly within nature, both protecting the ecosystem and serving as an organic extension of the scenery.

"Growth in Place" Design: The architectural form adapts to the terrain, minimizing earth excavation and seamlessly integrating with the natural environment.

The project is located in the deep mountains. We don't want the huge building volume to cause excessive damage to nature.The terrain where mountains and waters coexist has given rise to the morphological feature of the building "growing in place". The building spreads from the water's edge to the mountain rocks.The large lawn on the roof is fully integrated with the mountain, providing a venue for leisure activities. The roof is completely integrated with the mountain, allowing the building volume of 3,000 square meters to quietly blend into the environment. Natural rocks and water flow into the interior of the building, becoming vivid spatial elements that complement the insect exhibition inside.

Looking across the water along the scenic promenade, the building is like a chameleon slowly crawling out of the ground, lying prostrate on the water's edge, looking up into the distance. The umbrella-shaped structures and large and small round holes on the main facade of the building are inspired by the physical characteristics of insects. While being closely integrated with nature, it also responds to the insect theme, strengthened its own characteristics.It is believed that the immersive experience will bring tourists a wonderful memory and also inspire more insect enthusiasts.

Architecture and Landscape
"This project can be regarded as a model of ecological architectural design, where its biomimetic forms (insect wing structures, compound eye facades) and site characteristics (rock walls, flowing water) form an exquisite intertextual relationship. Through parametric design, it achieves a subtle intervention of 3,000㎡ in volume, fulfilling functional requirements while creating a unique natural experiential field."
