The idea for the project emerged as a result of our ongoing collaboration with Accor Hotel Group, for whom we are an accredited design partner. HYDE Bodrum is a special project as it marks the brand’s first investment in Türkiye. The brand’s unique identity, bold design language, and vibrant energy made this an incredibly exciting venture for us. While developing the concept, we brought together HYDE’s festival spirit and free-spirited style with the natural beauty and cultural richness of the Bodrum Peninsula. Throughout the design process, our goal was to merge the brand’s global soul with local references, creating a living space that is both sophisticated and full of freedom and energy.

We were very fortunate with this project, as the site is surrounded by a natural forest and rich vegetation. This natural setting gave the project its own inherent frame from the very beginning. During the design process, we preserved this texture by integrating native plants and landscape elements from the surrounding environment, allowing the natural greenery to continue seamlessly within the project area. Although the project is located in close proximity to the urban zone, the dense forest creates a visual and experiential separation from the city, establishing a unique, tranquil, and nature-oriented atmosphere.
Sustainability and environmental compatibility were among the core principles of the design process. Priority was given to the use of natural yet durable materials, with a strong emphasis on sourcing locally whenever possible. The selected materials were evaluated based on their compatibility with the region’s climate, ensuring energy efficiency and ecological balance. The spatial layout was designed to maximize natural ventilation and daylight. From a technological standpoint, the project includes solar panels for energy generation and storage, as well as a rainwater harvesting system to promote water conservation. The project has been awarded the “Sustainable Tourism Certification” in recognition of its environmentally responsible approach.
The strongest aspect of the project is its original “festival-chic” design concept, which shapes the entire spatial narrative. This approach offers guests a simple and comfortable stay within their rooms, while immersing them in social, dynamic, and ever-evolving experiences the moment they step outside. The design establishes a refined balance between vibrant communal energy and personal retreat. The project features spacious, multi-functional areas that bring together art, entertainment, and social interaction. These spaces reflect a sense of “quiet luxury,” combining elegance, simplicity, and a striking aesthetic in a harmonious and thoughtful way.
HYDE Bodrum offers a unique accommodation experience by blending the spirit of a festival with quiet luxury in a nature-integrated atmosphere. Emphasizing both comfort and social interaction through its design, the project creates a vibrant living space in Bodrum where entertainment, art, and natural beauty come together. This holistic approach makes HYDE much more than just an ordinary hotel.
