The project is the result of a renovation of an abandoned and ruined 1950s villa on the beach, featuring two floors above ground and a rooftop. Surrounding the villa is a huge garden with palms and trees. There are 18 rooms in total, each with a private bathroom. A large guest swimming pool with a hot tub has been added to the garden. The rationalist stylistic features of the villa were maintained, as it is an iconic building on the waterfront. Only a few small, detailed interventions were made to modernize it. The large terrace was restored and transformed into a breakfast area with a glass wall. It can also be used for events. Also the porch has been maintained, and the building has been adapted to current and fire regulations.
Votazioni chiuse
Located in one of the city's busiest areas, at the edge of the beach and surrounded by restaurants and bars, along the promenade and bike path, it has always been a popular destination for residents. The fountain at the front was retained, as was the vegetation. So has been decided to mantain the iconic shape of the building, being under the city eye. The proximity to beach and the surrounding natural areas led to the creation of a private green area on the street front with consequent distancing from the promenade.
The building is characterized on the sea front by a large balcony and terrace, overlooked by the suites, from which you can fully enjoy the view of the beach and the sea. The balcony with the garden and the pool.
The design process took sustainability aspects into account. It’s a renovation of an abandoned villa, the garden with the palms and the trees has been mantained and there was no increase in volume, no new concrete has been added, except for the pool. Low emissivity glass is integrated to reduce heat loss through windows and improve energy efficiency. The building is designed to allow natural ventilation of the rooms.
The dialogue with the surroundings, the use of the view, the design of the garden and the front facade represents the qualifying point of the project, a renovation of an old villa, creating a oasis of relaxation, giving her new life and spark, making it contemporary and recognizable in the seaside front. The rebirth of this historic villa embraces a futuristic vision where imposing rounded and circular geometries become the common thread thoughout the entire renovation project. These formes strategically integrated with architectural elements and furnishing, are enhanced by the refined use of gilded elements and black and white, creating an atmosphere of opulence. A revolutionary vision of luxury, integrated with technological automation systems elevates the guest experience to an unprecedented level of comfort and modernity. The elegance of the details is evident from the entrance, with circles adorning the suspended ceilings and sparkling chandeliers. The soft and sinuous white leather sofas embrace guests with comfort an style, outlining a unique and welcoming aesthetic. The mirrors, vertable decorative jewels, frame the spaces with gilded edges and harmonious shapes. In the bedrooms formal innovation continues to amaze, with sinuous gold panels and open wardrobes nestled within arched openings, creating a visual dynamism, that combines functionality and design. Gold and marble dominate the bathrooms in a stunnning mosaic inside the shower.

Overlooking te splendid Poetto seafront, the Hotel Nautilus Excelsior is designed for those who want an exclusive stay, dedicated to relaxation and comfort.
