Hideout is a new project by the Wynwood Hotel team. It's a new community quarter offering residences for permanent living or renting for any period. The idea was to create unique residences in collaboration with the top architectural and design bureaus.
The architectural ensemble is based on the mansion of State Councillor Charles Gascoigne. In the 19th century, it was home to artists from the Marine Printing House and later to captains of Imperial yachts.

The HIDEOUT project from the creators of the Wynwood Hotel – speakeasy- a hotel and an independent quarter organized on the principle of community – began work in the historical center of St. Petersburg, in Kolomna, on the site of the former barracks of the Imperial Marine Guards Corps. Buildings and squares recognized as historical and cultural landmarks of regional significance are being transformed into residences for living and booking for any period, a Scandinavian garden, art workshops and functional spaces for recreation and life with full immersion in the modern context of hospitality.
Hideout is a new project from the Wynwood Hotel team, reimagining the former buildings of the Imperial Marine Guards crew in St.Petersburg as a vibrant community quarter. Hideout doesn’t have the usual hotel rooms or apartments. All the spaces here are called residences, each uniquely designed in collaboration with leading architectural and design studios, including Choice, Da Bureau, Delo, Saga, Yaratam, Form, and Paum. Hideout is a community of like-minded individuals. All projects around Hideout form a unique ecosystem within the block on Rimsky-Korsakov Avenue.Supporting and collecting contemporary art is one of our missions, so in every residence, you can discover works by vibrant contemporary artists.
"The Hideout project is primarily a community of caring people, which is created together with like-minded partner projects: each of them plays its own exceptional role and organizes its territory within the boundaries of an entire block on Rimsky-Korsakov Avenue. Without them, it is impossible to imagine the ecosystem being created in detail," says ANASTASIA BARANOVA, Managing Partner of Hideout.

The Hideout quarter has existed since the mid-18th century and witnessed all the Russian emperors, as the Imperial Naval Guards Crew was stationed in its buildings.
