A digital platform for ideas, projects and environmental protection

Digital tools and solutions, advanced software and cutting-edge platforms and technologies have steadily reshaped the architectural design process, bringing greater efficiency, streamlining collaboration among the various parties involved and enabling precise management of data and workflows, including those tied to environmental sustainability and the life cycle of buildings and their components. One good example of this is the Mapei PRO digital platform: a comprehensive virtual environment that supports architects, designers and engineers in each stage of the design process. Among the many tools available on the platform is Mapei PRO Analisi Prezzi e Voci di Capitolato. Launched last year and developed in collaboration with ACCA Software, it is the first Italian tool designed for price analysis and the search and selection of specification items related to on-site construction activities. Through this system, professionals can easily identify the Mapei products and systems that best match their specific project requirements. 

In just one year since its launch, the tool has been used in over 15,000 projects, according to Mapei’s estimates. It has recently been enhanced with new features through the inclusion of products from Profilpas and Polyglass, two Mapei Group subsidiaries. The former refers to Profilpas profiles for cladding and supports for outdoor raised flooring, while the latter includes Polyglass solutions for waterproofing with bituminous membranes. Other new features include the ability to search by product name or filter by project type. Such enhancements make it even quicker and more intuitive to navigate the projects created using the platform.
