Being technological interpreters of blind systems means aiming for the greatest possible energy savings starting from the smallest detail of a window. With its 60 years of experience in the field of solar shading, Mottura has created new solutions for the roller blind sector which unite innovation, sustainability, flexibility and minimalist design for contemporary spaces. Called Topbox and XPro, they are respectively a range of systems for both indoor and outdoor blinds with a motor drive and a motorized roller blind.
The first of these additions features high screening action and equally consistent energy savings. These qualities are linked to the many fabrics available – ranging from the most filtering to the most opaque, they allow choice and personalization of each Topbox system. At the same time, this range is notable for its specificity in recessed installation or in environments that are difficult to access, with an aluminum box that does not require fixing and special hidden inserts that make the windproof guides self-supporting. Positioned laterally, these guides keep the screen perfectly taut and are equipped with heat-sealed zippers to prevent the curtain itself from slipping out of the guide. The outdoor version of Topbox is EN 13561:2015 compliant, with all components in corrosion-resistant stainless steel.
XPro, on the other hand, is a patented Mottura solution that is extremely wind resistant, even in cases of strong gusts. The descent and ascent of the blind are guaranteed in every situation, given that the blind’s tension remains constant. The square shape of the cassette is purposely simple and essential but there is still the possibility for personalization through four different color options, RAL colors on request, and numerous certified filtering and opaque fabrics. Thus, each room can have its own solution for regulating lighting and thermal and visual comfort.
