Florence now boasts a new space dedicated to nature, social life, and sustainability. Located on the fifth floor of The Social Hub Belfiore hotel, the panoramic terrace is the largest rooftop garden in the city—a genuine elevated urban refuge curated by architect and landscape designer Antonio Perazzi.
This opening marks the latest milestone in a major urban regeneration project that has transformed a long-abandoned area into a vibrant social hub for Florentines, harmonizing with the surrounding urban environment. With 7,000 m² of greenery, over 3,500 perennial plants, 600 shrubs, and more than 55 trees of various species, the terrace helps mitigate urban heat while offering a lush green oasis for relaxation in the heart of the city.

The terrace—accessible by two elevators and a grand staircase overlooking Viale Belfiore—is designed to welcome visitors along winding paths with soft flooring. Guests can relax in hammock areas, enjoy children's play areas, or have lunch at outdoor picnic tables.
Key highlights of this urban oasis include the Rooftop Bar, a 50-meter panoramic swimming pool, and three temporary kiosks—Chiosco di Mare, Firenzen, and Calistro.

Starting mid-June, The Social Hub Belfiore's new garden will also become a dynamic venue for sports, cultural, and community events. Markets, tastings, performances, and urban art gatherings will enliven the space, promoting culture, flavor, and creativity with a privileged view over the city.
