THE PLAN Award 2025: The Winners Announced

THE PLAN Award 2025 awards ceremony, held in partnership with Monterosa 91, took place on the evening of Friday, November 7, at Auditorium Monte Rosa 91 in Milan. The eleventh edition of this international award for excellence in architecture, interior design, and urban planning saw over 1,000 projects submitted from around the world. The international jury selected over 500 of these projects before arriving at the shortlist of 400 finalists.

During the final event of THE PLAN Award 2025, the winning projects for each of the competition’s 20 categories were officially unveiled. Each category is divided into two sections: Completed, featuring works that have already been built, and Future, dedicated to projects still in the design or construction phase.On the same occasion, 33 honorable mentions were awarded to deserving projects.

The overall winner was the  Toronto and Region Conservation Authority Headquarters, designed by Bucholz Mcevoy Architects e Zas Architects. The winner of the Community Wish List Special Prize, awarded by the public, is the Fondazione D'Arc in Rome, designed by 3c+t Capolei Cavalli Architetti Associati.

During the awards ceremony, the winners of the ECCA Prepainted Metal Envelope Award 2025 were also announced — a competition funded by ECCA (European Coil Coating Association) and, for the first time this year, organized by THE PLAN. The award aims to honor the most exemplary projects in the use of prepainted metal, distinguishing those that stand out for their architectural quality, innovation, and design excellence.
