An illumination that enters into dialogue with architecture—neither imposing itself on the space nor merely lighting it, but interpreting it and expanding its expressive potential. The Glowing Track is a promise to designers, brought to life by Flos Architectural, the lighting division of the iconic Italian brand based in Valencia.

The new Glowing Track system was previewed in the Flos Architectural showroom in Milan, on Corso Monforte. Its ambient light envelops interiors with an immersive yet discreet presence, ensuring a homogeneous and balanced emission in every environment.

The added value of The Glowing Track lies in its ability to combine high performance with nearly unlimited design flexibility. Its precise and reliable mounting system makes it ideal for contexts where modularity is essential—from workplaces to contract settings and even museum environments. The Glowing Track- Flos © Marco Cappelletti, courtesy Flos

Its structure, which conceals a technical track behind an elegant profile, allows for a refined lateral light diffusion: a soft, glare-free effect that creates atmospheres calibrated with care. This is also thanks to the ribbed diffuser, with a diameter of just 47 mm, designed to deliver a uniform and pleasant light capable of softening shadows and defining volumes with natural ease.

The Glowing Track is available in both suspended and surface-mounted versions, with options featuring either an integrated or remote driver. In both cases, the technology remains hidden, revealing only an essential and compact profile. This formal purity— a hallmark of Flos’s design language—ensures continuous, uninterrupted light, enhancing the architecture. The Glowing Track- Flos © Marco Cappelletti, courtesy Flos

Particularly noteworthy is the possibility of installing the modules vertically: a choice that opens the door to new spatial interpretations. Like true suspended sculptural elements, vertical modules redefine interior perception, playing with height and introducing a new scenographic dimension.

The versatility of The Glowing Track extends to light management as well. The system is compatible with compact projectors and can be controlled through dedicated devices or via wireless control using the FLOS Control® app, available for iOS and Android. This feature allows users to modulate intensity and ambiance with a simple gesture, making the lighting experience even more customizable. The Glowing Track- Flos © Marco Cappelletti, courtesy Flos

The Glowing Track comes in three different profiles: The Glowing Track, The Glowing Track 360, which provides uniform illumination in all directions, and The Glowing Track Blind, which focuses instead on accent lighting, using spots and modules installed on the track. The Blind version can be integrated with the other profiles in the collection thanks to a dedicated mechanical connection. All three models are available in three lengths: 1,200 mm, 1,800 mm and 2,400 mm.

Offered in various finishes —White, Black, Brushed Bronze, and Brushed Steel— the system fits easily into different settings while maintaining a distinctive and contemporary aesthetic.
